I can connect to the router but can not connect to the internet. how so I fix this Error 103

103 most popular error on DLink Modems and Routers.Error occurs when your computer or router is not able to find the internet connection. Reason behind settings of the modem or router.
Try to use :

• "https" instead of "http" in the URLs.
• Check Firewall is not blocking your internet connections.
• Reset your modem or router.

Try these troubleshooting steps:


Turn Files Sharing Off for your System Drive
Recover Registry Damage
Turn Windows Firewall Off
Reset Modem/ Router and try HTTPS instead of HTTP in URLs
Fix registry errors


If problem is not resolved yet then download error 103 repair tool like Reginout

Power off computer, cable modem, and router.

Connect router to cable modem via WAN port, PC to router via LAN port

Power up cable mode first, wait until for connection light

Power up the router, wait about a minute

Power up the PC


I have Cablevision and have had an issue when you are going to connect a different device directly to the cable modem (eg router instead of PC), you need to reset the cable modem first or it will not work.

i cant open any video online , like see any movies or and signal online , it is give me erroe 103 how i can do it

check if you have installed Microsoft NET.framework 3.0 or 3.5.
if not install.
Then restart your computer and try again
also try to log to router by typing its IP. find place where your MAC address is and make clone.

the router will give you a private address , that is the functionality of the router, the problem is not with your connection, try to upgrade the latest firmware inthe router and reconfig the router in a pppoe mode that will fix your problem..
