hi, do not know what you mean by register the router, i can tell you how to set it up so you can connect to the net? if that is what you are asking here?, what you have to do is, either wifi it, or hard wire via network cable to pc, start your browser as if you were connecting to the net, in the top search bar where the http bit is put this in http://192.168.0.1 this will then pop up a window with user name and pass word, put this in where it says user type in---admin--- where it says password type in ----password--- this will then get you into the routers settings, once in you will need to input the user name and password your service provider gave you once you have put that in, make sure you set your security password, make sure you write it down and do not forget it, otherwise you have to reset the whole thing and start all over again, hope this helps please vote thanks

Hi.
You can temporarily hardwire your computer to the router (connect via ethernet), press start then runand key in CMD, press enter on the keyboard and a black window will appear. Key in ipconfig and press enter. Information about your connection will appear, including the default gateway (write the numbers down or try to remember it).
Open internet explorer and go to the GUI (graphic user interface), key in the default gateway (the numbers) in the address bar, then press enter (the address bar is the long white bar at the top part of intrnet explorer that says "address" in front.)
This will give you access to your router. Find the option to see the "network key" or reset the it.
Note: resetting should be your last resort

You can install it as many times as you want. On the other hand, I'm not sure if you're allowed to copy the disk. Try to look it up in the n300 users manual
