Sunbeam breadmaker #5891 loses power immediately ater program sta

In less than one minute after starting the program, the machine loses power. I have plenty of power available, the pan is positioned correctly and I have followed the troubleshooting suggestions in the manual and from Sunbeam's customer service. This is a new machine (early mother's day gift receive approx 10 days ago) -the first two loaves of bread were fine, the third loaf did not bake as brown as expected; since then the machine loses power even prior to mixing. Any advice would be much appreciated.

SOURCE: Sunbeam 5891 Breadmaker stops for several seconds

It is normal. It allows the dough to fall back on the mixer blade. Often these reverse and that also gives the motor time to come to complete stop before reversing.

SOURCE: Sunbeam Breadmaker Pan

You can call 800-528-7713. I just ordered and pan and blade for $ 31.18, including shipping. They have a website: www.jardenstore.com. I just went to the site, and couldn't find the pan, so I would recommend calling the number.

I need a manual for my 5891 breadmaker

Sunbeam has the manuals for some of their kitchen appliances on their support site: http://www.sunbeam.com/InstructionManuals.aspx?section=kitchen . The direct link to the 5891 bread maker manual is http://www.sunbeam.com/Manuals/MANUALS/005891-000-000_43_4357793.PDF . Note you will need Adobe Reader or a similar program to read the file.

I hope this helps.

Sumedsa06Where can I buy a BELT for my Sunbeam bread machine model 5891?

This Sunbeam model's belt is considered unservicable by the distributor. I cannot, by law, consult you in any other way regarding this matter. 5891's are considered in the breadmaker world as low-end/disposable models.

Oster/Sunbeam/JardenConsumerSolutions will tell you the same.

Sorry for the bad news. Hope this helps.

Need a paddle for a betty crocker breadmaker model bc-1692

Hi,
Ebay has them. BC-1692 seems to be the same as Sunbeam 5891 or Oster. Check out the sunbeam bread maker 5891 and see if it looks like your machine, then look on Ebay for the sunbeam paddle.
