How do I change the battery

Some of the later Polaroid cameras had the best design I've ever seen. The battery was in the film pack. You never had to worry about it.
The camera you're talking about may be digital though with no film. If so then try to get a manual for it on line from Polaroid.

Hope this helps.

I have an old Polaroid Impulse camera I want give to my grandson. I just want the flash to work. Where do I put the batteries? He's only 2, he doesn't need film! Debbie

The batteries for Polaroid 600 series cameras are located inside the film pack. Polaroid discontinued manufacture of their film in 2006, a company called The Impossible Project has began limited production of some of this type of film but it's selling for about $20/10 photos.

Polaroid 600 Camera, won't take a picture.

How old is the film in it?

Polaroid film packs have a battery included (a polarpulse powercell, I think).

If its an old film, the battery can go flat and as far as I'm aware there's no way to get power in to it.

I would take the cartridge out, (effectively not use the last shot), try a new cartridge to see if its working properly, then send the old cartridge back to Polaroid, if you think its faulty.

Where do i buy a new batery????

Hello,

Poloroid instant cameras do not have a separate battery. The battery is actually enclosed within the film pack. It is intended to be able to power the camera for the 10 pictures it takes per pack.

For reference, here is a link to the camera manual:

Thanks for using Fixya.

I guess the films are over-aged!
I had many film cameras and two polaroid's. the latter for instant needs. but frankly, with cheap DC's available today, whoelse need a polaroid that films are expensive and difficult to get?

my advice: trash it!
