You have this backwards. The codes are in the remote. If you are using a Westinghouse remote, there should be no programming necessary. If you are using a universal remote, you can use the code search function to find a code that will control your TV.

I don't have DTV anymore, so I don't remember the exact code I used for my SK-32H240S, However, I do remember that I found one that worked at this site. Scroll down to locate your remote series # - it most likely will be printed on the upper left corner of the front of the remote - as an example, mine says RC64. Click on the corresponding listing, then follow the directions on the site. I tried only a few codes before finding one that worked correctly. Good luck.

The problem is cause by the transformer on LIPS inverter (Power supply + Inverter board). You could see an obvious burn on the 1 of these transformers ( There are total 3 black transformer on this board). The part number is 4302H. I just bought the Westinghouse VR-4085DF and tried all the listed codes, but none worked. Any suggestions or other optional codes that may work?

Hello mwhinz, there are currently no codes set up for your TV, what you will need to do is call 1-800-701-0680 or send me a quick email to westytech@westinghousedigital.com to get the FW via email that will allow you to program your remote using different codes other than Westinghouse codes. DirecTV offers a remote code lookup tool, which I just used to find possible codes for my Westinghouse TX-42F430S; its first suggestion (the "most popular" code) didn't work. Clicking the "It's not here" button showed seven more codes, and one of them (11577) worked perfectly. Here is the full list of Westinghouse codes for DirecTV from that tool (as of 11/27/08):
