Lorex video camera not working
First make sure all connections (Both at the cameras and the DVR are connected properly, hand tight.
Next I would make sure they system is up and running.
To ,narrow down the problem take 1 of the malfunctioning cameras and hook it up to where a working camera is hooked up (I would strongly recommend putting a label on each Camera (Working and not working)with masking tape and a black marker, same for the cables at the back of your dvr. i;e. Camera 1, Camera 2, Camera 3...ETC) And as for the cameras write known working on a piece of masking tape attached to each and if possible the cable it's hooked up to (just like you did earlier, camera 1 -4)
Now, with everything running, disconnect one of the no working cameras and walk over to one of the working cameras. IF there all the same cameras just unplug at the camera and leave everything esle as is. Now unhook the working camera, set aside, and plug in the non working camera. If this does not fix it, I would look at both working and non working cameras and make sure any switches that may be behind a panel are EXACTLY the same.(dont change the working cameras settings, just non working) If you have to change the non working cameras buttons try it again. Repeat with second non working camera. If the cameras still do not work then they are faulty. If they did work with or without making any changes to the non working camera then your cable ends and/or cable is bad)
IF none of this helps, try going to the back of the DVR and switching 1 known working cameras cable with a non working cameras cable. IF this fixes it then you unit is bad, if not, then camera and/ or cable is bad as discussed earlier. This should narrow down your problem and put you on a path to getting the system working, not that you know for sure where the problem is.
