The vertical lines on your TV's screen means that the screen is broken and has quit working. Or there is a processing issue here or a loose ribbon cable inside of the TV then. It would be cheaper just to buy a new TV than to repair the TV that is not working.

Please check sound on main power board. Could be a failing component that is heating and not functioning normally that is causing interference and thus the vertical lines.

Contact the nearest authorised service center for Samsung for details. Repair cost might be under $200.

That is far away from home.
The only thing I amcertain of is that the three point plugs are not the same in Australia as in the USA.

I would ask an electrician whether you need anything else, like a transformer. Anyway do not plug the TV in until you have made sure that the electricity worksin the same way. 110 vor 220v.

This does not sound like a settings problem to me. Does it happen on all different input sources that you use, such as DVD player, receiver box etc.,? Please provide this info so that I can tell you if this is a problem with the tv itself and you can return it for a replacement, if that is the case.

I have the same problem, and it will get worse. I have read and seen video on youtube, stating that it is capacitors on the power board, that need to be replaced. I watched the tutorial video it seems pretty easy, I am going to try it this weekend. Will update.

this can be in your video cable or LCD Connector issue. but most problem is in the flex cable of LCD. some other cases cannot be fix and replace new LCD Screen.

samsung color weel replacments are all the new air bearing type insted of fluid type. if you replace the new color weel , color will look bad. also note when ordering your replacment make shure it comes from samsung and not just a generic model.
the original replacement will come with a set of instroction to reset the dmv ajustments.
find the dmd pcb and look for a2 jumper that is visable through a small squaire remove the jumper. then folow instrustions with new color weel.
