Vaillant turbomax vuw gb 282e hot water problem

The flame is always pretty low (it is quite stable) and therefore the water is never hot (it changes from cold to warm-ish, but that's all).

Check for a control on the gas valve. Has this unit ever been hot? How long installed? Is it jetted for the right gas?

SOURCE: Vaillant boiler - heating OK, but no hot water.

Most likey problem is the diverter valve, not energising fully. This in turn will not move the little plastic lever arm that actuates the microswitch on the side, sending the signal to ignite.

You can buy a diaghram kit from most local plumb centres, you need to replace the diaghram and seals, don't forget the silicon grease to ensure the plunger doesnt stick. Kits less than a tenner.

You should have noticed before it stopped working completely the water had reduced in temperature before the weeks it failed.

To make sure it is a diverter valve fault, depress the microswitch if you can, when the hot water is flowing and hey presto the demand for hot water light should shine.

New furnace, Water In Induction Motor, Yellow Flame

The problem is too much gas as opposed to not enough air. It is still running rich. Did you take into account the elevation of the location your furnace is installed at. The higher above sea level the less air that you have to aid in cumbustion. The condensation is from excess gas being cold and causing water to accumulate. Can you run it like this? Yes but it will cause issues with soot and carbon deposits. It will also cost you more money in the long run.

Is there any health issues with using a Living Air Filter in your home? A couple of years ago, I heard there was legislation being proposed to ban their use in California.

California Air Resources Board was paid to ban any non-commercial Ozone-producing machines from being shipped into the state. Volarra, didn't want to spend the money to DEMAND they produce a list of injured parties, ALWAYS a part of any ban on a product. When I called them they said they knew of no injuries or medical lawsuits. I've never heard of any...after 9 years. Green Environmental Technologies installs the Space-Certified part into Hospital Surgical rooms, the OLD ozone technology got rid of my 2 boys teen-room odors and they stopped using their inhalers. Went from 4 per month for 15 years for the both of them, to 4 per year. GET also went to the Atlantis Casino and purified their KENO room with a single OLD technology commercial unit. GET-GreenTech.com They've been commercial certified, mold certified, have a PhD on staff, with partners across the country. This technology is good enough to fight a toxic chemical spill, so YES there's a chance that you could overuse it. But like the water tap, you should learn the symptoms of it being too high. Headaches, pool bleachy smell, sore throat in the morning that goes away pretty fast. These machines are supposed to be on as LOW as possible!

My honeywell air purifier is emmiting an awful

Mine quit too... The led screen went blank so I changed the battery. Now it does nothing. I totally disassembled it as the fan was turning stiffly.(should spin very easilly) The grease in the end bearing was stiff. I washed the gummy grease off the shaft and reoiled with synthetic oil. Your smell is probably motor windings overheating. I disassembled the electronic control and was disgusted to see that there is a glass fuse soldered to the circuit board. I believe the only reason for this fuse is to cause us consumers to needlessly replace otherwise good equipment. (It cost more to pay a repairman to replace the hidden fuse than to purchase a new unit)The fuse is not blown. At least this fuse actually looks lide a fuse unlife the stealth fuses most electronics have hidden in them. I can not obtain a wireing diagram on my 17005 unit but it has a black box inside behind the control panel. It looks like a small start capacitor, but it has a temp rating on it of 70*C. I suspicion it is a single use over heat safety which triggered when my motor got hot due to stiff bearings. I refuse to play their game and purchase a new air cleaner. I love this one... So, if I can not determine what that little black box is, I am going to bypass all the crappy electronics and just drill a hole on top by the handle and install a hi/lo/off manual switch directly to the motors wire hasness. This machine will never give me problems ever again, and if I oil the motor every couple of years with synthetic (Ander oil) this unit WILL last me for the rest of my life...

Kenmore AC2044-1 question ASAP!

If it says "Clean Cell Now" and it is a new machine, it is broken. I have six, yes six, of this model. They are all new and you shouldn't have to clean the filter/cells for a few months.

The way to clean is:

  1. Unplug
  2. remove the white cover
  3. remove the prefilter. Good time to clean the prefilter by removing the 2 retention clips and gently swing the prefilter outward. Clean or groom it with a vacuum. Use the upholstery brush. wash the prefilter in warm, soapy water. No Chlorine! Rinse clean with regular water. Wipe with a paper towel and let dry completely. It is okay to gently use a hair blower to speed up the drying process.
  4. Onto the Cell.
  5. The cell can be washed one of two ways. Either in a hot tub of water or in a dishwasher.
  6. Wear gloves to protect your hands. Never touch the fins or wires. It will ruin them and cut you up. Use the two handles.
  7. Use hot water and dish detergent.
  8. No chlorine and no abrasives.
  9. Soak for 10 minutes, then dip a couple of times to remove stuck dust/dirt/schmutz.
  10. Rinse with clean water.
  11. Allow to dry
  12. Allow to dry
  13. Allow to dry
  14. Okay to use a hair dryer to speed up process.
  15. Reinstall
  16. Power up
  17. Press and hold CHECK button for 3 secs to reset.

Thanks.
