Will not crank over or will not run? A bad battery will cause the solenoid to open and close rapidly causing a funny noise and even give of a smell from the battery. Check it first.

Take it for service. The burning is NOT a good sign!

sounds like bad ground somewhere either go to the parts store and get it all tested or get a battery charger and connect to the car with the battery disconnected..with the car off listen for a buzz in any part of the system..may have a bad relay..it will buzz on the charger..

Sounds like the clutch disk is worn out and slipping, that would cause the burning smell. Replace the clutch disk.

Sounds to me like the focus unit has expired or a poor connection on the EHT line.
Check for EHR arcing and don't forget there is in excess of 28 THOUSAND VOLTS there, so be very carefull indeed!!!
If the RHT unit requires replacement, there are several wholesalers who will supply one on description. Just Google the part description or part number, that is useually printed on it somewhere.

The motor on your dryer has gone bad. The humming is the motor trying to start and the smell is the motor getting hot because it is not starting.
You need to replace the motor.

Sounds like Head-Gasket. Thats the reason why you cannot smell it, because the engine burns it.

please do not try to put it on for further damage.

buzz and sizzle and smell like all the wire were burning is due to short circuit in horizontal output section or high voltage flyback section.

please skilled tech to fix it.

it looks major problem but it is not a major.

can be rectified by skilled tech easily at your home.
