you may have a bad ground, or a short in one of the wires. pull out the stereo.

The clock works, correct? It is just not illuminating when your headlights are turned on? If this is the case then it is most likely that you have 2 burned out bulbs. The forester clock bulb is Sylvania bulb part #2723

Check your fuse it might be burned out, If you change it get the same AMP, If it burns again, upgrade the AMP.

if the model has a digital clock and when the power went of it may have fried the little computor.if you dont have trip switchs in fuse box

Hi try unplugging form mains for an hour this will reset any settings back to factory settings let me know what happens after doing this then i can assist you further ok
