This is usually a sign that your computer was incorrectly shutdown or it lost power. You may be able to choose "Start windows normally" and hopefully everything should be ok!

Otherwise , your windows installation is corrupted. You may be able to run the "Startup Repair" option by choosing the "Repair My Computer" option which you are presented with.

If that doesn't work you will have to reinstall Windows and start from scratch. You will lose all the data on the computer doing this unless you take it to a computer shop where they will be able to recover your data before reinstalling Windows.

What's the complete message that it's showing?
Are you able to do a factory reset on it?
What is the model of your Acer?

Sounds like doing a factory reset is going to be required...

On some Acer's, this is the process to get to the Factory Reset option:
press Alt + F10 together upon start up. It will take you to the restore screen where you will be given the option to either restore the system completely which is suggested or simply restore the operating system.

Acer Aspire Z5763 all-in-one suddenly gave "no signal" on screen and then display went blank.

This is a pretty nice system. I don't know if it has HDMI output that you can try connecting to a TV?

When you get that message on a typical desktop, usually the cable has come loose. The same can happen inside these units.

Are you familiar with doing a 'Safe Boot'? When you start the computer and before you go into Windows, keep pushing the F8 key.

An option that comes up will be to Boot Into Safe Mode. If your screen comes up normally in Safe Mode, then you only need to update your display drivers from Acer. If you can't see your screen, you probably need someone local to fix it. The repair isn't hard, it just may be intimidating to someone who has not done it before.

Acer aspire Z5763 all-in-one shows "no signal" on boot up and then goes blank

The "No Signal" warning indicates it is not receiving video from the "compute" compontent of the device..

Given it's an all-in-one device, you'll have to likely crack the computer open to see if there's any loose cables between the mainboard and the display. Here are a couple video describing disassembling these types of devices:
Acer Aspire all in one PC model AZ5101 Disassembly
Acer Aspire Z5801 All In One Disassemble Repair

If there are no cables between the computer portion and the display, then you're out of luck.

Acer aspire 1690 laptop can't complete the booting process and restarts automatically. During the booting process, it shows XP windows but can not boot to the desktop and shows a blue screen but the...

blue screen in XP is usually due to hardware issues. Did you add or change hardware? By now, probably your only solution is to repair windows XP by putting in the XP setup disk and get to repair. If you do the install, it will format your hard drive and you will lose your programs and files.

Usually when a computer displays a "Media Test Failure" message, it is a good indicator that the hard drive is/has failed. The solution would be to replace the hard drive in the laptop.

My daughter's ACER inspire one gives the following message and makes a beeping sound "Check Cable connection! PXE-MOF: Exiting Intel PXE Rom No bootable device---insert boot disk and press any key

There is a loose connection between the hard drive and motherboard of the computer, that's why you are getting that message. You most likely need to take it to a computer repair shop so they can fix it.

Emachine destop not recognising acer lcd monitor

It sounds more like the computer isn't starting up. The "no signal" message is coming from the monitor itself to tell you it's on but there's nothing coming in to display. Normally no special drivers are required for the monitor, and you'd see at least the computer maker's splash screen and BIOS messages if the computer was starting up properly.

You'll need to determine what is keeping the computer from starting up. Make sure it's getting AC power and that the power light comes on when you press the front panel power button. You may need a power supply. If the computer comes on but doesn't boot you may have memory problems or trouble with the motherboard. But your monitor is working properly.

Acer monitor does not show anything except acer

"have three and same problem on different computers"
- you have 3 what? If you tried 3 different computers with the same monitor, your monitor might be bad and need repair. If your computer works fine with a different monitor, then it is your monitor that is the problem.

I do not recommend hat you attempt to fix monitors on your own.

Try turning the brightness all the way up to 100. That seemed to solve the problem for now. I believe neilneves is right that the power inverter is not supplying enough power, but in my case at least, by increasing the brightness the LCD is now receiving enough power to not flicker.

Press F8 during startup to show the boot options. Boot to VGA mode (if available) or safe mode and change your resolution in windows to the recommended 1280X1080. To do this in XP just right click on the desktop and select 'properties', click on the right-most tab and move the slider.

In Vista this would be right-click desktop, select 'personalise', click 'display settings' and move slider.

Hope this helps,

erch.
