timer sticking if you can get at it spray the timer with wd40 penatrating spray or simmilar if that doesent work it the timer clock probably cheaper to buy a new washer than have this replaced hope this helps ivan
Hi, You are correct in saying you need a new timer. When you have to move it by hand, the drive motor inside the timer has either quit or gears are stripped out. You will need your complete model number and then contact your nearest washer repair center to purchase the new timer. Hope this helps,
if you can manually move the timer to the next cycle and all works fine then you have a bad timer on unit... there are sevral gears in the timer usually made of plastic and over time thaey can get worn and not allow the timer to advance... if all works when you move the timer then most likely this is your problem (the timer) good luck to you
do u mean the timer does not move forward in that case u would need to order a new timer you can order the timer directly from marcone appliancce parts and they will mail it directly to your front door this is quite an easy fix just make sure u unplug the washer before you attempt to change the timer hope this helps
HI, this timer is faulty and, these are early warning signs of potential failuer of this device in the near future. i would prepare to replace the timer control soon. the actual mechanism is showing signs of breakdown.
seems the timer knob is old and need of replacement normally happens due to age as the timer switches inside the timer knob become old and sticky mostly unable to move so the timer isnt able to do much of its job
The timer has a small motor that advances it through the cycles. It either works or it's DOA. unfortunately you probably have to replace the timer complete.
