The D-link support desk can help with the default password to the unit, but can not tell you what your wifi password is. If you have a device on wireless you can go to the wifi adapter and usually check a box that says "show password in text". If that is not an option, log into the D-link and change the wifi password to something you know and can remember.

Note: changing the wifi password will break the wireless connection to any existing thing that uses wifi. You will have to go to each device and change them to the new password.

You cannot change wifi password form any devices . type ur ip adress in the url . type username and pawword. adn change the passowrd of wifi for change the language go to settings

Usually laptop has wifi and bluetooth buttons. Turn them on. Same goes for phone but if ur router has firewall or password installed try firewall exception from ur os or try typing password in ur phone or laptop when it asks for it. U can find it in the sftware settings which usually comes with the router

I lost the paper with my wifi password on it

There is a Reset pin on the Wifi, press the button once and connect the wifi to ur computer using LAN cable, once it is connected it will prompt for a New password.

well it depends on the wifi if the wifi is urs and u know the password it should be know problem BUT u may have a setting preventing anyone but specific people from seeing or acessing ur connection obviously someone can do that to their own so s to not let u in btw it is illegal to STEAL others wifi connection unless it is given free

Difficulty in installation

1. hard reset ur modem ( it will set to bridge by default)
2. connect ur modem to WAN port at netgear router
3. connect ur pc to LAN port at netgear router
4. by default ur pc ip should be 192.168.1.x
5. type at IE/firefox address bar

username = admin
password = password

6. enter all basic info (ISP = other, streamyx username password, wifi setting)
7. set value for idle timeout (in minutes) = 0
