Firstly make sure your modem is switched on and ideally connect using a cable as we have to determine if your internet is working, if there is a problem somewhere in the internet as the connection travels from your computer's internet access. Here is how to Ping

  1. From the desktop, click start
  2. Select Run
  3. In the Run box, type command
  4. Click OK
  5. The DOS window will pop up. At the C:\WINDOWS> prompt type ping www.microrepair.eu and press enter.
  6. You will see some results pass through the screen.
  7. It will tell you if there were any packets lost in the transfer (0% loss is what you want to see).
  8. It will also tell you the average speed, in milliseconds.
  9. To close the DOS window, type exit at the C:\WINDOWS> prompt and press enter.

If you have a connection then your browser has been compromised my advice is to download Firefox and run with that

I have malware in my system how do you get rid of it? I have McAfee protection

Won't McAfee do it? Update it, run the scan, and there should be a results tab with a removal option there.

Failing that, disable McAfee, download and run MalwareBytes Free , and do as above.

Anonymous password appears on my yahoo log in window, it cannot be deleted pls Help

Simple, you have been hacked and need to purchase a good antivirus scanning program and clean up your computer. Some one has compromised your computer. Also, download and use: Spybot Search & Destroy; Malwarebytes; Superantispyware and the last three programs are nice spyware & malware scanners and are free. Clean up your computer first!

1. You may have malware on your Internet Explorer- Even if you do not have IE as default it still coded with Messenger. Start trouble shooting with a cleaning browser download "ccleaner" and use it daily. Run it through a couple of times, using the factory settings and the "analyze" control to see the files offered up for cleaning. Use 'Run Cleaner' to delete these files and then run 'Analyze' again to ensure all files are deleted Run the 'Registry' from the left hand toolbar but 'Save' any changes after opting to 'repair' errors.Never make changes to your Registry without saving the information. http://www.filehippo.com/download_cclean...

It's not a virus. You have "Malware" on your computer. Download a few malware scanners and run them. Next, you will have to get it out of your registry. Otherwise, it will keep coming back. I use PC Toolc "Registry Mechanic". There are many out there, just compare the features to what you need & want. Run it about once every month to keep things cleaned up.

Failed to calculate hash for 'c:\Program

Basically the McAfee self-test has failed - you either have a corrupted file or are infected by some form of malware or virus.

1) Download Avast!
2) Download Adaware
3) Download HiJackThis
If you do not have them
4) Disconnect from the Internet
5) Install all programmes in this order HiJackThis, Adaware, Avast! and Run each immediately after they have been installed
6) If you wish to continue running McAfee then uninstall it
7) Reboot computer
8) Install McAfee
9) As you should not have two Anti-Virus Programmes running uninstall Avast! - Although I believe Avast! to be a better product
10) Reboot Computer
11) Reconnect to Internet

That should be you go to go

If this helped you, then please help me and vote, thank you

Trojans wont go away. Hijackthis SCAN help

I am of the mind to do a complete reinstall of the operating system including flash the BIOS even if it is the same version. I worked many hours tracking down and thinking you found every part of the problem on to hit an .EXE and it all starts over again....I just clean out everything and start fresh.
If you tell us what make and model of computer along with the operating system it is we can direct you to the drivers for the reinstall. Some off those programs - for example AOL seem to be virus magnets. (if it is a dell it is really simple if you just put in your service code- it give you your particular driver of your computer.)
That is what I would do...Or you can keep hunting.
please leave rating,,,thank you
