Door sensor alarm continually sounding since turned ff on...light is on when first open fridge but I put recorder in fridge and light stayed on when shut!, after a few minutes light goes off and then won't come back on when door opened..
It's telling you it has a fault, you have to find out who is doing the warranty work for Baumatic now, by law they have to honor the warranty.

I have the exact same problem - very annoying. The only thing I found to work was to purchase one of those child safety locks. I bought the Kidco Appliance Fridge Lock S330 because it was the only one I could find that automatically relocks after you shut the door. Buy two (or more) at a time because the arm will eventually wear out and break (after several months depending on how often you use it). You can check out the product's details on eBay - that's where I purchased mine. Hope that helps.

Open door and turn power off then on twice. Then press the Overtemp reset.

check level from back to front on fridge if good than check the amount of food that is stored on the door if u have a lot of bulk, weighty stuff they may be acting as a counter balance on the door when u close the left side the air that is trapped usually disperses into the unit and is not forceful enough to push open the door but if their is a lot of additional weight on door it makes the door easier to open and swing on hinge
