SOURCE: Blue numbers

Make sure Num Lock is on (the light belonging to numlock is on).
Then use Fn + Keys with a blue number on it to use the keypad.
Make sure you hold the fn-key, for each number you want to type...
If this doesn't work, try Fn + Esc. If your laptop goes to standby mode, The Function key is allright, and there is another problem. If it does not work, your keyboard may not be installed probably, or may be defect.
Please post some feedback,

Good luck

Need to program new phone numbers

The manual is available here: www.uniden.com/pdf/CEZ260om.pdf. If you search google for "uniden cez260 corded phone manual" it is the first result.

You can find the instructions in the fourth column of text under "Storing a Name and Number in Memory"

Here is the text from that section, but I can't promise the copied text is accurate. Check the pdf at that address if anything doesn't work.
Storing a Name and Number in Memory
1. Press STORE. LOCATION? shows in the display.
2. Press the desired memory location (0 to 9 or quick call buttons A, B, or C.) NOTE: Press LEFT or RIGHT to scroll through 0 - 9 or quick call buttons A, B, or C to select a location.
3. Press STORE again to con? rm the memory location. NOTE: Use Delete to erase existing memories or to correct errors.
4. Use the number keys to enter the telephone number (up to 32 digits) and then press STORE to save. (The unit will not dial a phone number in this mode.) The cursor automatically moves to the text line for name entry.
5. Use the number keys to enter the name of the person associated with the telephone number you just entered. More than one letter is stored in each of the number keys. Press the keys multiple times to scroll through the letters for that key. For example, to enter "B," press "2" twice. Press LEFT two times to create a space. NOTE: The ? ashing cursor automatically moves to the next position or you may press LEFT or RIGHT to move the cursor to the next position.
6. Press STORE to save the name.
7. To enter another name and number in a di erent memory location, return to step 1 and repeat this process.

Storing a Pause in Memory
The REDIAL/PAUSE button has dual functionality and becomes a pause button when pressed in sequence after the STORE button. It is valid only when storing a number into memory locations. Use the REDIAL/PAUSE button to insert a pause when a delay is needed in an automatic dialing sequence (for example, when you must dial a 9 to get an outside line or when you enter codes to access your long distance company).
NOTE: A pause is 3 seconds in length and you can store more than one if a longer pause is needed. Changing a Stored Number Repeat the storage sequence under Storing A Name and Number in Memory, and press DELETE to delete the old number before entering the new number.

Erasing a Stored Name & Number
1. Press STORE.
2. Press the memory location (0 to 9 or quick call buttons A, B, or C) to be erased.
3. Press DELETE.

Copying Caller ID Memories to User Memory
1. Press LEFT or RIGHT to view the caller number and name you want to copy.
2. PressSTORE.
3. Press the memory location (0 to 9 or quick call buttons A, B, or C). The number ? ashes if there is a number already stored in that memory location.
4. Press STORE to enter Edit mode, and then pressSTORE again to edit the name. NOTE: Select a di erent memory location by using LEFT and RIGHT to scroll through 0 - 9 or quick call buttons A, B, or C.
5. Press STORE to con? rm and save. Wait three seconds to exit.
NOTE: If the name you want to enter is longer than 12 characters, only the ? rst 12 characters will be copied into memory.

Storing a Redial Number to Memory
1. Press STORE.
2. Press any key (0 to 9 or quick call buttons A, B, or C) for the memory location. If a number is already stored in the memory location, it will appear on the display. Use LEFT and RIGHT to select a di erent location.
3. PressSTORE again to con? rm.
4. Press REDIAL/PAUSE, and then press STORE again.
5. Enter the name, if necessary, and then press STORE to con? rm.

Copying a Redial Number to Memory
1. Press REDIAL/PAUSE while on-hook. Redial number will display along with PICKUP PHONE.
2. Press STORE.
3. Press any key (0 to 9 or quick call buttons A, B, or C) for the memory location. If there is a number already stored in the memory location, it will appear on the display. Use the RIGHT or LEFT buttons to select a di erent location.
4. Press STORE twice.

Hi I have a panasonic KX-T433 phone system which I am trying to put in speed dial numbers, we have to dial 9 to dial out does any one know how to do this using a 9 in front?

You have neither a 7730 (the category you asked in) or a 7433 phone sytem. If your phone is really a 7433, you have a TD phone system. Which "speed dial numbers" are you trying to program? System speed dials, are stored in system program 001 and consist of a 3 digit number (may be 2) with a "9" in front and the number as you would dial it from the keypad. Personal speed dial numbers depend on the button you're programming it onto. If it's a button with a light, you dial "2" in front of it. If not, you don't. So, Program 99, button, and either 29 + number STORE or 9+number STORE programs a personal speed dial.

There are other programs to store under the tone pad keys. Those features are covered in your User's manual for the TD system.

How can I set speed dial if my phone is not the main telephone

If you have a USB port on the side of the cabinet, you can program it from the maintenance console. You can also program "personal" speed dial number in the 12 feature buttons on the right side of the phone, and/or under the dial pad on certain systems. To program the buttons, press PROGRAM the button and dial the number with an access code in front (usually 9) then STORE. So, to call 555-1212 you'd dial 9555-1212 STORE. and pick up the handset and drop it back down to end programming.

If you figure out how to program numbers under the dial pad buttons 1-0 keep in mind that it overwrites the F1-F10 keys.
