SOURCE: I have a miele g892sc
I had the same problem and I was able to fix it by trying to reset the machine. You push the on/off button for 5 seconds to reset and then disconnect the machine. I also check the drain for clogs. I found that the problem is with the water sensor on the drain. it is telling the controller that there is water in the drain so the impellers keep turning to flush the system. I pour CLR solution into the drain and let it sit for a few hour and then plug in the machine. It is working fine now.

Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. The first
thing that should be checked is if its draining properly as it could be that
the drain hose is clogged and needs to be cleaned. The drain pump also should
not be clogged. Also the stopcock should be opened fully and the water inlet
valve should be checked for any clogs. Also the metal
filter, impeller cover and the air gap unit should be checked. After
checking this you can reset the error as follows: turn the
rotary selector switch to "Stop/End" or press the "Start/Stop"
switch for approx. 5 secs. Then switch the appliance off and then back on
again. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert
for further assistance.
Thanks

SOURCE: The intake Drain light is
Hi
Intake/Drain light flashing means an issue while
draining. You would need to check for air gap on the dishwasher, it may be
clogged. It prevents dishwasher from draining, sometimes the drain flow is
restricted due to gunk. Cleaning or bypassing the air gap will resolve the
issue. If this doesn't resolve the issue then it is due to seized (or stuck)
drain pump. Disconnect the power to the dishwasher or turn off the breaker to
the dishwasher. Tip machine on its back; remove screws that hold the bottom tray
on. Remove the hoses to the main motor, remove electrical connections &
remove motor (single screw holds motor, it is on the outside back of the
machine). Try to rotate the motor (use WD40 is necessary). If you cannot rotate
it, then motor will be required. If the error still appears then cancel the
error message, turn the rotary selector switch to "Stop/End" or press
the "Start/Stop" switch for approx. 5 secs. Switch the appliance off
and then back on again. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more
information.
