I have a set of Creative I-Trigue 2/1 3300 speakers that I have used for years on multiple computers. I have recently purchased a lap top and it was working fine until I hooked up my laptop to an external HDMI cable. Now the sound comes from my laptop!! How can I override the HDMI? The Creative speakers do not even show up in my list a selection, so I can not "chose" them....

Plug the speakers in to the head phone jack on the lap top but keep top volume on the laptop FAIRLY LOW. Then play some music and adjust the volume on the speakers.
It it is still not loud enough turn the volume on the laptop UP A LITTLE.
If you turn the volume up on the laptop too much the sound will distort.
the driver you uninstall ed is for your sound card whats the model of your computer and if you know what type of sound card did you have inside. I can assist over skype remotely aryon314
Hello, You should go to nearest electronics technician and easily they can change V/C or manege with equivalent another v/c .There will not be no effect, if that guys work with care.
