Dts output on LG ARX 9500W 7.2 Dolby Pro Logic Home system

I want to know, we have a LG ARX 9500W 7.2 Dolby Prologic home theatre system. We want the system to do DTS, will it be possible to use the Tritton AX Pro Plus 5.1 decoder between the LG Blu Ray player and amp to get DTS?

SOURCE: I have bouight a samsung home theatre system that

You have several ways to do this. You can hdmi cables from the two units and plug them into your tv if it supports hdmi and run the audio out portion on the back of the tv and hook that into one of the audion inputs on the surround unit. Or you run audio directly out of the bluray using rca, digital coax, or digital optical cable. Turn the surround reciever to the corresponding input that you choose to use.

How do i fix my remote to work my home theater. i have a htp-071 and my remote stopped working. the battries are brand new. I went away for the weekend and came home, remote didnt work. please help.

Test remote for operation. Problem is with either the remote or the receiver in the home theater.
Clean all battery contacts and install new, tested, working batteries in remote. Turn on am radio and tune AM dial to about 600 - turn up volume. Then bring remote to about one inch from radio and hit button on remote. You should hear a beep as long as you hold the button down. Every button will respond likewise. If nada at all remote is trashed, if works with some buttons then you have a partially operating remote. Try cleaning contacts for buttons that do not work or use some aluminum foil under those non working contacts.

How do I get audio from tv to receiver?

There should be audio output's on your TV and cable box. There are usually multiple options on most newer model a/v equipment. If u check the manual look for the page showing you about the various connections on the back, you're lookin for anything to do with audio output, there are many different types optical, digital, and analog. Again depending on your specific equipment there's almost always at least one way you can connect them

My lg dvd player has an digital coaxial audio out, but both my home theatre and t.v doesnt have any digital input .whether i have to buy a seperate receiver for that digital out ??...

Hello ,unfortunately the answer is yes,in order to get dolby digital or dts audio either an optical, coax or hdmi cable is required as these are the only methods of digital audio transmission. However the dvd player should have analog outs (red and white jacks) if you would be satisfied with dolby pro logic than you can still connect using these cables to your existing equipment.

How do you make the surround sound work?

For an outside left/right(red/white or stereo jack), enable Dolby Pro Logic or ProLogic II. For DVD's, if it doesn't have a 5.1 track, which will be stated on the back of the DVDcase, then also will be a case where ProLogic is needed.

No surround sound through tv

May be you have to set the Pro-logic option soundfield, this will matrix a 5.1 surround sound effect, unless of course you are sending a Dolby Digital 5.1 audio signal from your TV broadcast into the Home theatre system, also have to check the TV audio output to send audio output to a Home theatre system in other than 2 channel stereo.
