How to recove Seagate external hard drive data?

Probably, the new operating system cannot recognize your Seagate external hard drive. You can connect the Seagate external hard drive to another computer to copy data to another device. If the problem still exists, you might need to perform data recovery. You can free download the data recovery software: http://www.icare-recovery.com/seagate-recovery/seagate-external-cannot-be-recognized.html

Backup samsung convoy contacts to pc

Because of the importance of transferring contact information from one communication vehicle to another, there are a number of different automated ways to transfer contact information. To import contacts, such as VCF files from computer to Samsung Galaxy S9/S8/S7/S6/S6 Edge, you need to ask help from an Android data transferring program named MobiKin Assistant for Android or Assistant for Android (Mac Version). With it, you can move contacts between your Samsung Android phone and computer in 1 click.
Step 1. Click the above button to download and install MobiKin Assistant for Android on your Windows or Mac computer according to its prompt instructions. Then, launch it directly. After that, you'll be required to connect your Android phone to computer with USB cable or WiFi. Just choose the method for connecting as you like.
Step 2. After connection, you need to do some operations to make the device be recognized by the program. For example, you need to open USB debugging under "Developer" option, and install a right USB driver on the PC. (Sometimes you may need to install the USB driver manually due to unknown reasons when the automatic operation is not working well.)
Step 3. When your Android is recognized by the Android Assistant software, you can see an interface like below. Now, directly click "Super Toolkit" in the top menu, and select "Backup" option.

Step 4. Check the device and click "Contacts", then specify an output folder according to your needs. After that, click "Back Up" button to begin the process. backup-android-files-uwkecbqhxdnurjdgs33nmwp2-4-2.jpg

MY WESTERN DIGITAL MY PASSPORT HARDDRIVE IS NOT WORKING. WHEN I PLUG IT INTO MY COMPUTER, IT VIBRATES. MY COMPUTER STATES THAT IT DOESN'T RECOGNIZE IT. IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO?

try other usb port, or other computer and see whether the hdd is detected. If still not, try to go to device manager ( http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000833.htm ), and then assign a drive letter to the hdd. After that, try to access it from Computer, if not able to access it, format it (use quick format) and then use this program to recover your files.

I have a WD 500GB External Hard Drive that is not being recognized by my PC (Windows). The power light comes on the external hard drive and an hear faint clicking when first plugged in, but no access....

If it shows up in 'my computer' as a drive letter(like E: drive) but you can't access it,you can recover data on it with data recovery program to avoid losing your data.I have succeed with Tenorshare data recovery. It can recover data after deeply scanning your external hard drive to look for lost data due to drives crash, physical damage, system sabotage, virus attack etc.You can get it here: http://www.any-data-recovery.com/product/datarecoverystandard.htm After you recover your data, you can format it to check out whether it can be fixed.
If the hard drive can't be detected, you can try this way.Put it in a zip-lock bag and put it in the freezer for overnight. Then while it's still cold plug it into the computer and you may be able to view it in 'my computer'. And if needed, run the recovery program to recover your data on it.
If it fails, you will have to go to a recovery office where supply data recovery service but let's hope not because it will cost you a lot of money and whether they can recover data is not guaranteed.

My WD My Book Essential 1TB External is not showing up on 'My Computer'. It was working perfectly in the morning, then when I rebooted my machine it no longer showed up.

disconnect your WD ext HDD. and reboot your computer. then connect again. if still not showing. go to device manager (right click my computer then properties -- click device manager). expand by clickin "Disk drives" category here it will show all the hard drives installed in your computer including your WD ext HDD . if you see yellow sign on your external drive right click and remove then go to Action menu click on Scan for hardware. it should detect and install the driver again. if still the same or maybe its not on the list of Disk drives.. try to change another USB cable .. i hope this will help

I have a Western Digtal 1 TB external hard drive, It has been working since I had it (about 3-4 months) and yet now whenever I plug it in to my laptop or pc it doesn't show up in 'my computer', Windows...

Have you tried plugging it into another system and see if it recognizes it? You're right it shouldn't need any drivers unless something has damaged the drive and it's no longer giving it's identification to Windows. If that is the case then it may have been damaged beyond repair and the best you could hope for is maybe recovering the data.
