White screen on my lg ux830

Have you tried holding down the power and volume down buttons simultaneously to do a reset? It normally takes 10-12 seconds before it reboots. The LG logo should appear, then release the buttons. The Power X has battery connection issues and will do random shut downs as well. If it's shown other symptoms like charging problems you will need to take it in for repairs.

I need to know the model of your alltel phone. Its under the battery. its usually the numbers and a letter.Or if you know the name of your phone that helps too.

the screen sounds like a wire came off....if you have insurance on the phone I would go through the provider and get it replaced....or if it is less then a year old it should still be under warranty. I have a used but good LG Glimmer for sale if you are interested.

wut i did was : First i downloaded this program named audacity so u can cut chunks of the song. then i downloaded another program called Switch converter cuz this particular phone only plays songs on mp3 or mp4 format. unfortunately u can only cut up to 278 kb which is about 18 seconds of the song. but that's wut i did and it works just fine .

easy, it depends on what song format you have your audio files in that you want as a ringtone, if they are mp3s you cant use them, i have the lg ux830, i dont really like it anymore cuz the touch screen is so futile and total ****, well anways back to your question, just go on your computer and convert the songs to a .WAV format and they should be able to play

The drivers provided by LG will work on either XP or Vista, but are 32-bit, and will not work with the 64-bit versions of Windows.

I transferred music to my LG830, and I would like to make some songs caller IDs. I can't seem to find any of my music in the "my audio" folder, though it is in the music section.

U can download pix using UX830 datacable and also using Bluetooth dongle with the bluetooth of your phone and even infrared...if you have further questions don't hesitate to ask me about it and the process of download. thank u.

I contacted LG with the same problem and they suggested a software program called datapilot. It is however, not free.

Ok, I had the same situation come up on both my LG UX830 and another lesser LG phone that me and my wife had with US Cell.... The only way I was able to get my contacts over to my instict s30 and my wifes 1st gen instinct is via bluetooth.... I first started the blue tooth on both phones and then paired them together. Once done, send send the contacts over. I recommend doing this by groups if possible, cause I can't imagine doing this one contact at-a-time. By groups I mean, your general group, your family group and so on..
