Hi, yes it should. Have the AC adaptor tested for DC out, you might need to replace it. Most of these prtable units have a rechargeable battery pack, you might want to have it checked out also, because it might be interfering with the AC option as well.
go to google and type in what your looking for , you will be redirected to various site that offer such a service, remember to type in the correct model number of your machine. good luck
You don't necessarily need a code if the DVD player screen is not asking for one. The problem could be that the discs are not finalized - use the same DVD recorder or computer burning software that you used to record the DVD's to finalize the discs. Some programs/players use the word "closing" or "close disc" instead of the word "finalize." If you used the Magnavox to record the DVD's, go into the Settings menu of the Magnavox, select "Disc Edit," and then "Finalize." If the DVD player screen is specifically asking for a code, the user manual for the Magnavox has the universal code in it - it is usually 7-1-1 or 0-7-1-1 for Magnavox. If you have lost the user manual, it is available from either the Magnavox or Funai website, depending on your exact model.
My son's Magnavox Portable DVD does not seem to be functioning properly....It won't turn on, and when I plug it in, as if I was going to charge it, it blinks orange then green. So, it seems like there is a problem with it. Anyone experience the same problem?
