Bypass bios setup password hp pavillion

    Step 1:
All computer BIOS chips have a backdoor master password designed to be used in the event that you can't remember the password you set yourself or by a tech support agent who is fixing your machine. These passwords are set at the factory level and do not change, no matter what model of computer you own. You will use this password to bypass the currently set password in the event that you need to access your HP BIOS but cannot.

Turn on your HP computer. Strike the "F2" keyboard key. Your HP computer will attempt to load your BIOS. You will be prompted to enter your current password. Type "merlin" into the password prompt and hit "Enter." This is the backdoor BIOS password for HP brand computers. You will now bypass the user defined password and the BIOS screen will load as normal.

    How to remove BIOS password

If you have the current password, use it to access the bios password screen in your BIOS menu and leave the new password blank.
Assuming you don't have the BIOS password, there is generally a white jumper connecting two pins on the system board. With this removed, the BIOS password will not lock out changes to the BIOS. This is especially useful if you've purchased a used system that the previous owner locked out.

A200 bios password how to remove

    HI,

The best way to remove the bios password is to reset your bios jumper. All boards have the jumper, you will move the jumper from it's current position to the next pin. Example. It has two pins. Jumper Pin 1 and 2. The jumper might current be set on pin 1 and blank. Move the jumper to pin 2 and blank. Leave it on for about 10 seconds and then move it back to the original position. This will reset your BIOS.

    Good Luck
