Ok, here's what you need to do to try to fix this.
- make sure to remove/uninstall the adobe flash player 10 on your computer (remove it under the control panel.
- download and install adobe flash player 9 and install it. - once installed try to browse a video, if it works, adobe itself will just update to the latest version.

Hello, Try this: Start > Control Panel > Add & Remove Programs. In that list you should see Adobe flash player. double click it to Uninstall it. Reboot your computer. Go to:http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html and download the program again and install it after you have downloaded it. That should solve your problem.

My new packard Bell Onetwo M D6321 64 bit system will not function with Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X. Im using internet explorer (64 bit) as my browser. Adobe website keeps leading round and round...

The component is named 'ActiveX'.
The version of the Adobe Flash Player was 9-point-something, but now
the current version of the Adobe Flash Player is 10-point-something.

So, use Add/Remove Programs to _remove_ Adobe Flash Player.
Restart your computer.
Access: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
and allow the ActiveX control downloaded from Adobe to be installed.

which will automatically install the newest version,

Why my adobe flash player 10 crash all the time

Try a fresh install of the program after you uninstall the old one. Download a fresh file and save it somewhere on your computer. Go to Start, Control Panel and Add/Remove programs. Find the Adobe Flash Player and uninstall it. I would reboot computer and then install fresh file.

Operating system error! (16236.203.235

The problem is with the Adobe Download Manager software that is installed on your computer. The company responsible for this questionable software is NOS Microsystems. The software seems to deactivate the flash plug-in, which was otherwise working perfectly, in order to force the user into upgrading to the newest version of Flash. If this behavior is the case, the sofware actually qualifies as malicious and should be removed from your computer.

Go to, Control Panel/Add Remove Programs and remove the Adobe Download Manager Software.

Further, click Start/Search/All Files and Folders and type getPlus in the file name line and hit the Search button.

Right click and delete/remove any files that have getPlus in the title.

Now go to this link and download the Flash Player directly from the developer site, instead of the usual web download location:

http://www.adobe.com/support/flashpl...oads.html#fp10

On the page, just below the first paragraph, find and click the link that reads:

Download the Adobe Flash Player 10 Update for Windows and Macintosh (ZIP, 44 MB)

Once you've downloaded the zip, extract the files and click into the main folder: flash_player_update3_flash10

Then click into the Players folder, then click into the Release folder.

In the Release folder, click and Run these two exe files in turn:

Install Flash Player 10 Plugin.exe
Install Flash Player 10 ActiveX.exe

Now you have the latest version of Flash on your machine.

Most users go through the hyjacking/forced upgrade without noticing any problems, but for users getting this annoying error, avoid downloading questionable software like the Adobe Download Manager, anything labeled getPlus, or anything from NOS microsystems.

Tried both solutions adobe flash player 10 still failed to register

You may need the latest Java Updates. Go to www.sun.com and download the latest Java Console to your computer. After installation, try to download Adobe Flash Player again. If it does not work then your operating system may not be compatiable with Adobe Flash Player 10. You may need to download an older version such as Adobe Flash Player 9.

You can find older versions of Adobe Flash Player such as 9 on www.cnet.com type in the search field (adobe flash player 9). After the options show up, choose the file to download and install.

Be sure to check your available memory and system speed which are also factors when installing flash software.
