Water pours from drain hose overflow in front of washer

LG WM0001HTMA Steam Washer: When we turn on the washer, at the start of a cycle (or at any point in the cycle where water goes into the washer) the water immediately comes straight out the drain hose in the compartment at the front of the washer. It's like the water passes right through the washer and out the front and onto the floor. As far as I can tell the primary drain hose out the back of the washer is not clogged. I can pull it from the wall and blow into it and it forces more water out the front drain overflow hose. The washer has been working fine for a year and this problem just occured. The washer is obviously completely unusable in it's current condition.

That drain hose in front has a stopper, to prevent discharge. Either it is not there or not tight or something. You can always clog it shut with a round wood bit inserted or something........I don't think it is too difficult.

My lg wm0742hga front load washer machine over fill of water causing to leak out from the door

even when overflowing it shouldnt leak from the door? less u have a bad door seal? the water problem may be due to a bad water inlet valve? have u notice water in the tub even when ur not using it? check with a multimeter the inlet valve and the water pressure switch? blow into the water pressure switch while it is in the wash mode filling with water and if it starts washing the diaphfram is good if not its faulty. u can also checl the water inlet valve the one with the hoses attached . by running either a hot or cold cycle only and turn off the hot then turn off the cold? see if it continues to over flow with each cycle? hot then cold- GOOD LUCKKKKK

My whirlpool steam duet washer won't pour water in the wash cycle

There is no output from the control panel to switch on the inlet valve, so check the inlet valve at this time of the cycle. Also check the water level pressure sensor switch.
Choose another program to confirm if not the controller seems to be suspect.

My LG Front Load washer starts to wash, then when it tries to drain, it stops and shows error code OE. I checked back drain hose and they are not kinked. I removed front filter in bottome left and water...

Hi dear.OE code meaning on Lg washer's"machine unable to drain in 10minutes". You can make a little test. Please remove the filter & pour some water in side drum ,watch for water coming out of filter. If it's slow, tub to pump hose clogged.(there must be some sort of fluff or coin clogging hose)if it's not slow, waters comes out freely, run machine on drain cycle & check the pump motor is it running smoothly? If not change the pump.I hope that helps.Thanks.

Drain washer pump for winter

Turn off the water at the cold and hot taps. Disconnect the hoses from the taps and the washer and drain them. Lay the drain hose flat on the floor to drain it to a container. With the hoses disconnected and the drain hose flat, start the fill cycle (set to WARM) briefly (15 seconds) to open the inlet solenoid valves and allow water to drain from them. Start the rinse cycle to pump any residual water out of the tub and drain (15 seconds).
OR
Turn off water and disconnect inlet hoses as described above. Pour 1 gallon of RV anti-freeze (for potable water systems) into the tub. Start the rinse cycle just enough to start the drain so antifreeze goes through pump and into drain hose. Before using the washer again, run a small rinse through to flush out the anti-freeze.

What is the best way to winterize a standard large capacity washing machine?

If the product will be exposed to sub-freezing temperatures, turn off the water supply to washer, disconnect fill hoses, drain them and reconnect. Remove the drain hose from the standpipe in the wall and place it into a shallow pan at floor level untill the water floe stops. Unplug unit and you are good to go.

If no sub-freezing temps are expected, turn off water supply. Turn on washer for a warm wash cycle for a few seconds to relieve the pressure in the hoses. Turn off machine and unplug it.

LG WM1832CW Front Load Washer

FE means water is overflowing. Check pump filter. Check water level switch and hose. Also check that drain hose isn't too low causing it to refill itself continuously. In any case the drain pump should run for 4 minutes to try and eliminate the extra fill

Whirlpool LHW0050PQ - Water wont empty or fill

This sounds like a plumbing problem. Lets see if we can isolate it. Turn the valves off behind the washer and remove them from the washer. Remove the washer drain hose from the stand pipe. Stuff one of the hoses into the now vacant drain line and turn the water on. Then do the other hose. Any noise? Now reconnect the fill hoses to the washer and reinstall the drain hose to its' place. Turn on the water valves at the wall, set the washer to a cold/cold cycle and start it up. Listen for noise. Now shut the machine off and set it for a hot/cold cycle and turn it on. Listen for noise. If you get no noise now, it's all good. If you're getting noise from just your hot water, your water heater is set too high and you have steam propagating in your plumbing. Your washer water valves (where the hoses connect to your machine) will only do this if you have low water pressure coming from the wall. Still, it'll be a plumbing problem.
