All machine and my kjam can share internet and working fine. but it is not allowing me to share my kjam's GSM network which is packet enabled data service from my service provider. My phone works with that fine but my laptop (vista home basic) is not getting connected with bluetooth or wi-fi to either desktop or laptop. how to connect my phone to laptop ? even windows mobile device center on vista tells me that not connected but in device manager, it is stating connected. I connected the phone to my wifi. But it wont go to any websites or mail etc.

Hi Shiela

Try the following as sometimes it's a simple setting missed..

Solution-1
On your phone under Settings>> WiFi >> Hold the Name of Your Network >> Now Click on Forgot Network.
Now reboot the phone & modem/router and try to connect the Wi-Fi again.

Solution-2
Pull out the phone battery while it is working & re-install after 30 second. Phone will reboot again now try to connect to network and check internet connectivity.
Solution-3

You can browse to Settings>> WiFi >> then press left menu key & Click on Advanced. Now check that Wi-Fi timer is not off. If Wi-Fi Timer is on then turn it off.
Now disable Wi-Fi & again enable it. Now check the connectivity on Android.
Solution -4 (Important)
Update your phone, Modem& Wi-Fi Router time and date to match the internet provider time and date. This is very important because 2 out of 10 cases are because of this issue.
Solution-5
Check the Internet connectivity after disabling the antivirus & mobile data.

Blu-ray player wi-fi ready vs. wi-fi built-in

Blu-ray players are getting more internet capable and any player made 2010 or later is probably going to have wi-fi or wireless internet connectivity. However not all players are the same. Some Blu-ray players are wi-fi ready while others are wi-fi built-in. What's the difference? Wi-Fi ready players need an extra part called a dongle or adapter stick to make them work with your wireless router and not just any adapter, typically only the one the player's manufacturer offers. Usually this will cost you an extra $80. But Wi-Fi built-in players already have the adapter in them and are ready to go without adding a part. Be sure to check if the player is Wi-Fi built-in, as this is what you want for wireless connectivity.

Youe broadband router is working ok with the broadband cable. So it is configured with the broadband cable. Now,to work with the wireless internet, you have to configured the wi-fi router to work internet. You can see the wi-fi connection but unless & untill you will configure wi-fi router it must not work or if before it was working with the wi-fi then you can check the wi-fi router setting because it might change by mistake.Surely it will work after configurating wi-fi router.
