Most likely, the problem is a defective Main Processor Board. This is the board with the antenna, RCA and HDMI plugs. You cant repair or replace component parts on this board, so dont even try. You must replace the complete board. The TV says Sylvania, but it is a bloody Funia TV. Several years ago this foreign company bought out broke-azzz Sylvania . They are still carrying the Sylvania name since Sylvania was a popular TV name in the 70s. Every electronic company in the USA is now owned by the Chinese, so call Funai and order the part from them. Dont be surprise if they dont have a clue what the heck you asking for. America and all electronics have gone to the puddles. Do you know why? GREED.

power supply board has defective components, check for swollen capacitors and replace them,if problems still not solve email me at [email protected] .for further instructions
Hello, Common problem with this TV is the power supply module. Check the power supply; look for bad caps with leaking/bulging tops, check to see if you have standby +5vdc at the power supply connector, the front red indicator will not be on if you do not have this +5vdc standby voltage due to shorted out. hope this help in solving the problem.
Replace the lamp would be the first thing to try. Lamp door switch on this model is notorious for going bad. If you replace lamp and still won't turn on jumper door switch. If you take off back you can see switch board.
The green blinks are an error code indicating a specific fault, your power supply developed an 'over-voltage' issue and needs to be serviced at your local repair shop.......
The light staying on is afterburn or power stored in a capacitor to start up the solenoid.
The protection circuit has been invoked to protect other components from being burned out. This unit needs professional intervention.
Unplugging and leaving for a few hours will not fix it it will merely delay the inevitable.I suggest it is taken for repair ASAP and refrain from trying to run it to prevent major damage or even fire.
