Hello try to renew the vga driver from here:

Or run the intel driver update utility from here:

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/

You can also add a better graphic card, on the mainboard for better performance.
This mainboard has the AGP slot, for adding a graphic card.
Just make sure you have the driver, for your windows system.

Use my guide to install the latest drivers for your graphics card. It is entitled How to install Graphics Drivers, Nvidia and AMD Radeon!!!

The section on Nvidia Graphics Cards applies to you.

Your computer components may be overheating, install as many fans as your computer chassis will allow. Use 120mm fans if you can, Cooler Master SickleFlow 120mm fans are Excellent.
The cooler you can get your computer to run the better it will perform and the longer it will last.

Download a program called Hardware monitor.
You will then be able to run this program in the background while you are playing your games, then exit the game and check the maximum temperatures.

CPU temps should not be over 65 Deg
Graphics Card Temps should not be over 70 Deg

The H55 computer mainboard is not really a gaming mainboard, it is more of a media setup.
If you keep every-thing cool I suppose you might get away with it.
You may need to give your mainboard an upgrade to P55, Socket 1156
Get a good make I prefer ASUS.

The VGA driver can be downloaded by using either the Graphics Card or Mainboard model number. The Processor doesn't need a driver to operate.

Use www.nvidia.com and go to driver downloads, then select the Graphics card information.
Now save and run the install.

Unfortunately the Geforce FX5500 is an AGP8X card and the mercury mainboard PI945GCM only supports PCI-Express 16X graphics cards.

All your drivers will be in the following locations.

Motherboard drivers:

select your motherboard by the type of processor and download the drivers

nVidia drivers latest:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

NOTE: before installing any new drivers, uninstall all the old drivers.
remove all your motherboard drivers and graphics drivers. then first install the motherboard drivers and finally install the graphics drivers.

all will be around 100 to150 MB make sure you use a download accelerator and have enough bandwidth.

you must check your motherboard manual if what VGA card is compatible in your mothetboard.. or check it to the website of the manufacturer of the motherboard in order to know the compatible Components for your board..^^^^^^^

Any 8X VGA equipped ATX Motherboard will be able to handle this card, even if it is 4X it will usually clock down. 250 watt Power supply is recommended. AMD Athlon or Pen 4 processor.
