Change the compatibility settings of the .exe file that executes the game to an earlier o.s. That should work. If it is REALLY old, try DOSBOX

I think this is a common problem as Vista does'nt support many games and softwares...........Its better to use Win 7 friend.........

Try updating your video card drivers. However, according to the specs, it's not supported for vista.

This is an older game so it may not be possible, but there are a couple things I would try. I have linked to sites with a full description of what is needed for each suggestion.

A quick search found other users who got Blitzkrieg to work, but I found none that were using Win 7 64 bit. 64 bit versions of windows seem to have more compatibility issues with older software than the 32 bit.
Assuming you have tried all of this, you might consider a dual-boot option for Win XP, or get an older PC for this and any other Win XP games (that don't like Win 7). I have found several of these.

If the game has been istalled successfully,on desktop right click on the game icon, select properties, switch to compatibility, then select run this program...... then select another OS.
