Replaced carburetor and filter still won't stay running
Have you checked the Flame Arrester in the Muffler. They clog easy and engine can't push out exhaust.
Testimonial: "Cleaned flame arrester and even took off the exhaust it still only runs when I prime it a lot till the gas burns out of the carb"
Cleaned flame arrester still have same problem only runs when I prime it burns off what's in the carb and shuts off
Ok must be Fuel lines. The Ethanol gas beats the heck out of fuel lines .
Thank you for getting back to me I changed all the fuel lines and it has not worked
New Carburetor, new fuel lines, no Exhaust clog AND it only runs on Primed fuel then stalls...are you sure you didn't reverse the Fuel lines to the Carb?
No took them off one at a time when I replaced them. Almost feel like the new carb I got might be bad
what's left??? nothing! short burst of life from the engine from what you pump in and then it dies. I tend to agree.. possibly a bad carb.
you are choking the engine with the throttle of Full , right?
Yes doing exactly what the manufacture calls for
