Refrigerator top freezer door slightly rubs to inside freezer bottom while closing the door that opens on right side. Due to this after closing the freezer door, the door opens less than a mm near the left gasket and humid air gets inside the freezer to form ice. Is there any adjustment on the top hinge to bring the freezer door up by about 2mm (1/16 to less than 1/8"? It seems the freezer door has dropped slightly from the factory setting. In my judgement, there is enoug room on the top of the freezer door when it closes to rub on the top side.

First thing is make sure the freezer door is capable of closing properly and is not rubbing or catching anywhere. I sometimes add a washer or 2 to the center hinge under the freezer door so it doesn't rub anything. Put a little Vaseline ( or food grade silicone lubricant ) on the hinge side of the seal. I then raise the front of the refrigerator so that the front of the refrigerator is a little higher than the back of the refrigerator. Never level a fridge with a level. Once you have the door closing properly and front slightly higher than the back...let the fresh food door close from 90 degrees on it's own and the freezer door may "pop" open a little but will close again on it's own...and stay closed once all is set up properly. We see this more often now and have no trouble with the door staying open again after setting up the refrigerator properly.

You need to check level of the fridge. Should be level side to side with a slight front to rear . (Fridge tipping back slightly)

That is a common occurrance for side by side refrigerators. Closing the fresh food door is like having your car windows closed and closing the door. You can feel the air pressure on your ears. In the refrigerator, the air passes through the duct and into the freezer pushing the door open. The magnet on the door gasket should keep it closed. But it may be the freezer door needs the hinges adjusted to the door seats better when closed. Take the plastic cover off the top hinge and you can loosen the screws (don't take them out) and adjust the door slightly (so it looks even between both doors) and tighten the screws up. The top of the door should be level with the top of the unit, and the gap between the doors even the whole way down.

Remove the top freezer hinge hover on top of the freezer door . Unplug the receptical there ( this will remove power to the door only ) .
Using a small screwdriver at the "crease" on the bottom of the dispensor control board inside the dispensor , twist slightly to disengage the 2 clips ( 1 on each side ) holding the dispensor board . Unplug the 3 connectors from the board . 4 screws ( 1 on each corner ) hold the dispensor housing shield . Remove these 4 small screws . After removing , at the top right , you will see a solenoid and plunger . These are probably rusted , holding the flap open . The part number for the solenoid and plunger is WR62X10055 . 3 screws hold this part on . When reinstalling the dispensor housing , It slides back on 2 "grooves" so make sure it is back in place , or the board will not snap back on properly at the bottom .

The freezer door has a rubber gasket fitted with magnet beading. In case the gasket is torn or the magnet strip is missing due to continuous use the door does not close. Just replace the gasket and you will see that the door does not open unless you physically open it.

The freezer door is relatively light weight, and when the fresh foods door closes, the air has to go somewhere and the easiest escape route is to momentarily pop the freezer door open. The door should close again quickly. If is does not, make sure the freezer door liner is not touching the top or bottom, causing dragging resistance, and make sure that the front leveling legs are raised up so the door closes by it's self when released from a 45 degree opening. Sometimes the hinge side gasket rubs and holds things up also, especially if that area was cleaned. If that is the case, rub a film of wax on the hinge side gasket to lubricate it. Additional weight in the freezer door will also help.

take the freezer door off and put a washer or two on the bottom hinge. sometimes there are extra plastic washers on the top hinge that you can move to the bottom to lift it up.
also check if the hinge is bent or loose, as this may cause the problem.
