Replacing a fan

I have dell inspiron 1525 notebook. I want to replace the fan because it makes noisy sound and notebook becomes hot when it is operating. I tried to disassemble the notebook but I couldn't take the fan out of the notebook. It seemed not to able to take out of the notebook unlike other notebooks. How can I replace the fan?

Dell Inspiron 1525 does not reboot after cleaning out dust from fan.

Take it as a loose connection, go through all the connections and ensure they are making good contact. The only other explanation for this problem is Electro Static Discharge, or ESD. In which case some component is fried.

However the loose connection theory sounds like a winner.

Check the RAM modules, Hard drive and CPU as well as the CPU Cooler fan is connected.

Thanks and take care!

Inspiron 1525 Touchpad has a mind of its own

I would try using what they call a cool mat. It sits under your computer and plugs into your computer per USB. It helps keep the computer cool. They cost like 25 dollars.
