My Furrion TV has power I can see the power light go from red to blue but I only have a blank screen. Can the tv be reset

You should remove the back cover on the tv. Then on the power circuit board see if the capacitors are swollen or bulging. (capacitors look like little batteries) If they are swollen then that most likely is your problem.Very common with flat screen tv. To remove the old ones off the circuit board you would have to de-solder them off. To replace them you would have to solder new ones in.

My tv will work for a few minutes and then turn itself off.

Remove the batteries from the remote to be sure it's not shutting the set off but I don't think that will be the problem as Funai brand sets had issues with the inferred sensor board, try replacing it if you have tried removing the batteries from the remote, that should fix the set.

Why does my Galaxy tab 4 get so hot using skype?

Skype puts a huge drain on the battery, when the battery is under this type of load demand it gets hot. Make sure the battery doesn't look swollen, if it is remove it and put it in safe fire proof container and dispose of it as hazardous waste.

Swollen Fuji battery

When a battery becomes swollen, it's time to dispose of it properly and replace it. Failing to do so could damage your camera. Do not use a swollen battery. Lipo batteries have been known to burst into flames when they are used after they have become swollen. Don't know if this battery is a lipo or not, but whatever it is, get rid of it.

Remove swollen 9v battery

You can attempt to use 2 butter knives and try to wedge it out, you can use a dental pick to scrape the edge of the battery, but without seeing exactly how swollen it is, that would only be a guess. If you can send me a picture to [email protected], I can take a closer look at it.

How can I safely remove corroded and swollen batteries from a set of Sears Discoverrer Zoom binoculars? They sat in a gun cabinet for years and the AA batteries are swollen and will not budge. The binocs...

If they cannot be pushed out from the other side getting them out will be a bear since they are lodged in there. Using small screw drivers you can wedge them in the area between the battery casing and container. The crud has to be loosed for you to even have a chance of removal. Will be one royal PIA and messy. Afterwards you have to get in there and thoroughly clean all yuck with particular attention to the terminals that conducted battery current. Happened to me with my of my favorite torches and ...............GOOD LUCK!

The battery on my dell 1501 inspiron no longer works and I was wondering if I should remove the battery, since I only use AC power and turn off the computer when I am not using it ??

Hi.

Providing the battery is not getting hot or is swollen or leaking then it's up to you whether you leave it in or not. If the battery is getting hot or is swollen then of course I would take it out.

It says use genuine battery when i try to turn it on and it says power off and counts down from ten and nothing helps it i tried charging it taking the battery out nothing helps

amandapan13 I want you to take the battery out of the phone. Also feel the battery to see if is swollen in the center of the phone. If the battery is swollen you need a new battery. Take the battery out and clean all the contacts. Then put the battery back in the phone to see if you still have that problem. It could be the phone itsel that is not working. Plug the phone in without the battery. See if you still get that message. Hope this help. One replace the battery if it is swollen. If the battery is not swollen take the phone to the nearest carrier and have them look at it for you.

The battery to the unit has expanded so much

This is a known problem in that some batteries have swollen to the point that the tabs holding the battery compartement door have actually broken off! Logitech has been known to replace the battery and/or the door even when the remote is no longer under warranty, though you may need to haggle with them. In the event you cannot succeed in getting Logitech to assist, you can either spring for a new battery (you can get an OEM replacement on Ebay for around $10-$12 - just be careful you don't get the battery that only works with an alternative wall charger - read the ad carefully). Or, you can carefully sand down the ribbed underside of the battery cover. Just taking off 1/16 of an inch will usually do the job. Good Luck!
