I have a wayne dalton garage door opener and the light stop working after and over ride or over use I let the motor rest and work again but the light stop working I replace the light bulb and nothing please help.
Same problem here. Took out the control board and D21 is complete shot. Hole blown in the side of the diode. Anyone have the schematic for this board?Same problem here. Try unplugging the unit for ten seconds.If that dont do anything youre have to call wayne dalton they should warranty the light socket replacement ,super easy to change out.

I would look into buying a liftmaster jack shaft its a much better unit but to get u buy just press the little red button on the opener type in your code
Did you happen to put a new light bulb in it? I put an LED bulb in mine and the interference caused the remotes to stop working. I had a bear figuring it out, because it seemed to be totally random. Sometimes they would work and sometimes they wouldn't. Once I switched back to an incandescent, it worked fine.
Wayne- Dalton uses 4 different types of counter balance springs-extension, torsion, torquemaster 1, and torquemaster 2. I would need this information for a good answer. A photo would help a lot too. Thanks BB
