Trigger will not work to increase speed to run the chainsaw
I'm guessing from the statement that it "will not work to increase speed" that you have been able to successfully start the chainsaw.
I have to look at this with the assumption that you haven't run a chain saw before, so bear with me if some of this is excessively simple.
If the throttle trigger does not move, something is jammed. The handle for the choke should automatically move to the retracted position when you pull on the throttle. If it doesn't, see if the trigger will move after you push the choke handle back in.
If the trigger moves in when you squeeze it but you don't hear any change in the engine sound then it's probable that the throttle wire has disconnected at the carburetor or at the handle.
Is the chain brake off? You need to pull it firmly back toward the upper handle for it to be disengaged. If the handle is forward it will lock the outer portion of the clutch. If you try to accelerate with it locked the engine will bog and not allow the chain to move.
Any of these conditions other than the chain brake will probably require some disassembly. Make sure you're confident that you've correctly reassembled everything if you're going to do it yourself.

If you did nothing to the carburetor adjustments, are using a fresh (1.5 months or less) fuel mix with the same oil/fuel ratio, are operating at the same elevation, and the air filter is clean, there is a reason your saw is acting up.
Most often it is a fuel delivery problem. Check the fuel filter on the free end of a hose in fuel tank (manufacturer recommends an annual replacement). Check all fuel delivery lines especially at fittings and bends for cracks and holes. If those are good then the likely cause is internal parts of the carburetor are dirty or have failed. HTH

Try blocking the throttle arm on the carburetor in the wide-open position with a small stick, then deal with the trigger mechanism. In order to remove the cable from the carburetor, you need to remove the carburetor itself, then unhook the cable end at the throttle arm. Keep track of which fuel hose goes where if you do this. Does the brake seem to 'snap-over' like it should? Pull it back to release position, and remove the drive cover. Check the entire brake for debris accumulation or bent/damaged brake band. Check the chain to see if it is being oiled. Remove the bar/chain and clean the entire assembly, particularly the small oil passages in the drive end of the bar. Start the engine and watch for oil oozing out of the small side port where the bar fits. If ok, reassemble the bar/chain. If no oil comes out, investigate the oil pump, lines, and filter/valve in the oil tank. Mount the side cover, but leave the fasteners finger tight. (The chain teeth cut toward you on the bottom run) Tighten the chain until the lower run comes up to the bar, but can still be turned by hand. Tighten the fasteners and recheck the tension. Trip the chain brake and make sure it locks the chain, then release it and make sure it turns freely. Check the chain oiling by running the bar tip at speed near some cardboard--it should leave a thin line of oil on the board. Hope this helps!

Take the saw back for warranty service. We have a Husky #435 that had starting problems when new last year--warranty service replaced the ignition module the first trip, then a little later, they replaced the carburetor--it has worked very well since. I suspect that Husqvarna has had problems with our ethanol blended fuels. Hope this helps!
