I purchased this unit because it had a USB port. I have a few movies on a 32GB flash drive in AVI format, but it says "no movies can be found". I know the flash drive is fine because it works in my PS3
Maybe you have to put all avi files in the root (main folder, no subfolders) of the drive? Or your player might not even read this file?
I tried that and it still didn't see them. Only other thing I can think of would be to convert them to AVCHD format.. aside from that I'm lost. Was hoping someone else has had this same issue.
Have you successfully played any video content with your player? (stored in a flash drive?). Perhaps it won't work with multiple files stored at the same time, or the names of the files have characters that the player can't read, or maybe the names of the files are too long.
Haven't had any luck playing them. Some are short names, others are long. None have and characters aside from english alphabet. I haven't tried having only one single file on there, I think that would defeat the purpose of using the flash drive. I was hoping I could use one drive to take the place of 20 DVDs. But I will try tonight.
