SOURCE: out of paper message

there is a paper guide that supports paper on the tray, if you look closely you can even see the paper sizes that corresponds with your printer either (lettter size or 8 1/2 x 11) if this is not set correctly then you can get skewed on your prints, if i understand you correctly, or kindly elaborate some more

SOURCE: I consistently get a "Paper Skewed" message on

It's just a practice with every plotter that i've worked on.The guide lines are absolutely inacurate. For every individial z6100 may be different but in mine the the right side of the paper must be about 3mm inside from the tip of the guide arrows(the paper must cover 3mm of the arrows).

SOURCE: How to correct paper skew?

It sounds like there might be a fragment of paper or other debris in the paper path causing the paper to pull to one side. Try using "Canned Air" to blow out any paper debris - See if that helps.

Lift blue error

Typically the lift blue lever error comes up if the plotter detects skew when loading paper. If the paper cannot be loaded without skew then either you do not have the roll seated on the holder properly or the roll of paper was not made properly, which I have seen.

Image is skewed from platten or dh

Make sure that your paper trays are lined up correctly and tight against the paper in the tray. Also, I would make sure there is not any paper jammed behind the paper tray and make sure the paper is in the paper tray correctly... Good Luck

My hp photosmart c4780 won't align because is keeps saying that the alignment plot in the scanner is skewed

If you have had paper jam and not replaced the rear paper grey plastic retainer correctly or somehow it has become loosened the paper will twist on entry and the printing will be askew. Sometimes not loading paper. It will then also not align when replacing cartridge. Had this problem, took out the retainer that has two plastic points that should locate in the retaining holes and pushed it back. Paper jam, printouts and alignment was then fine. Took me months to figure out as it was printing, just not very straight

Hi there. Our Canon ImageRUNNER 3235i has been skewing papers about for months. Service techs can't seem to find the problem as it is sporadic. Any suggestions?

Hello,
These can be a quite pain, this copier when it works it works it fine, but when it doesn't works it doesn't work with style.

Please give me more info, where the paper is skewing? in duplex assy or before or after the fixing unit or while going out of paper drawer...?

I had a problem that paper was skewing in duplex and I've chaneged the duplex vertical roller axis.

When I print something on my hp 6210, the words and pictures are bisected and skewed. Why is it doing this?

You may have a paper path problem, if the paper skews during printing you will get skewed lines, try cleaning all the paper path rollers you can access, look for any paper debris.

Recurent paper jam on Cannon Pixma MX300

Some printers have a certain paper height or paper load you can have loaded at one time. I would try loading a smaller amount of paper and see if that helps. If it still does the same thing your paper thickness lever may be damaged.
