Hi there,
You can just empty the waste toner bottle. here is what you need to do.
Here is also a manual for your machinehttp://support.ricoh.com/bb_v1oi/html/oi/re/model/cl3500/cl3500en.htm
Detailed instructions on cleaning the Waste toner bottle on Page 32 of the Maintenance Guide. Instead of replacing just empty it. Just be careful as the toner is toxic so you can also vacuum the toner out of the Waste Toner Bottle.
Regards,
used toner bottle is full so you have to take it out and empty it. open the front cover, you will see one bottle in the middle and one lower down with 1 and 2 written on it. pull it out and empty it and fit it back.
Open the right door, remove the transfre unit, remove the transfre belt unit. The waste toner collection bootle is located under transfer belt section.Remove 3 srews remove the case and use the vacuum cleaner to clean the waste toner empty.
The used toner is stored in the Transfer Belt assembly on the right door that you open to remove a jam. Remove one spring on each side and release the catch while gently lifting up on the belt and roller assembly. It swings 90 degrees up from the rest of the assembly. There are 6 screws that hold a cover on the lower assembly. remove it and dump the waste toner. *** VERY MESSY*** have a vac on hand. Not a shop vac unless you want toner clouds floating around the office. If the six screws aren't present, dump the toner out of the **** between the mylar-rubber blade and the lower assembly. once this is done, the message will clear.
The book doesn't really tell you where it is in the machine but if you open the door in front of the copier, look for a white plastic bottle with toner in. Remove the toner bottle from the machine and dispose of the toner bottle and replace it with a new one or dispose of the waste toner. Clean the bottle and replace it back into the machine.
most likely it will be on the right rear. look for a door w/ a couple of screws, there is a white plastic container, empty or replace and put back. should clear on it own when done.
thank you very much sir.
thank you.
