Dishwasher problem dishwasher begins to wash, water flows in, then both first and second green indicator lights flash together and the cycle does not complete. I have cleaned the filters, removed water that's left in the bottom of the dishwasher.

Can anybody enlighten me to the problem other than a new dishwasher?

My dishwasher Indesit DI67S will not run on the number 1 cycle. It will fill and then when that programme finishes it jumps straight to the drying cycle missing all the rinses out etc. If on the number 2 programme it goes all the way through but then doesn't dry. I've also noticed that the water doesn't seem to be heating up much and certainly isn't drying. Is this the element or something else? Once its reached the drying cycle the light for this just flashes then I have a job to try and reset the machine. It can take endless attempts. Will switching the machine off at the mains solve anything or is it the element?
Thankyou

Hi there

I have had this problem before. If your dishwasher is not level water collects at the front. Try tilting your machine forwards. Be carefull though as water will come out of the bottom. Once you have done this and reset your machine it should be ok.

Ariston dishwasher LFB 5B010 EX on/off, rinse aid and salt lights are flashing, left washing light orange and green (end) light on without flashing.

It sounds like there may be a problem with your Ariston dishwasher. The flashing lights and the dishwasher's inability to wash could be caused by a number of issues, including a problem with the control panel, a faulty water inlet valve, or a clogged wash pump.
To troubleshoot the issue, you can try the following steps:
  1. Check the control panel for any loose or damaged wires. If you find any loose or damaged wires, try to secure them or repair them as needed.
  2. Check the water inlet valve to make sure it is not clogged or faulty. The water inlet valve controls the flow of water into the dishwasher. If it is clogged or faulty, it could cause the dishwasher to stop working.
  3. Check the wash pump for any blockages. The wash pump is responsible for circulating the water during the wash cycle. If it is clogged, it could prevent the dishwasher from washing properly.

When I start the normal 50 button, the top and middle lights blink three times. Then after few seconds the normal 50 and bottom lights start to blink

Start the wash programme
1. Check that when the dishes and cutlery are loaded in the dishwasher
the spray arms are free to rotate.
2. Open the water tap fully.
3. Shut the door.
4. Press the ON/OFF button. ON/OFF button indicator comes on.
5. Press the button for the programme required (see "Programme Table"). The programme indicator lights up. One or two lights will flash in the multi-display. During this time it is possible to reselect the programme. The selected washing programme begins after approx. 6 seconds. The current wash programme stage will always be shown in the multi-display.
3 If the top light and/or the middle light in the multi-display flash after
the programme has started please read the section "What to do, if...".

Check water flows through the spray arms onto the cutlery - indicated by wet cutlery.
If dry - recirculation pump is probably blocked

Green start button won't stop blinking

START/RESET status indicator light flashing

You have pressed the indicator light flashing START/RESET pad while the START/RESET dishwasher is running. This will cancel the cycle. The light will stop flashing after the dishwasher drains (about 90 seconds).

• Press the pad once to start the dishwasher. Press the pad a second time when the dishwasher is running only if you wish to cancel the cycle.

Power to the dishwasher was turned off while a cycle was running and power has just been restored to the dishwasher. The blinking lights indicate that the dishwasher is draining the potential water inside.

• The light will stop flashing after the dishwasher drains. A new cycle will start automatically.

Good luck

Water won't drain

Do the diagnostic test:
SHU 53 MODELS

To start test program, press and hold both SCRUB WASH and DELICATE/ECONO program buttons, then turn unit on by pressing ON/OFF button. Initially, control module version # will be displayed (e.g./ ?21? = version 1 with jumper). When wash program buttons are released, lights above them will flash. To end test program, press ON/OFF button.
To check each program indicator light, press its button. To check Cycle Countdown display, Refill Rinse Agent light and REGULAR WASH light, press REGULAR WASH button (press Delay Start button to test Cycle Countdown display alone). Cycle Countdown display will show “88′ when REGULAR WASH button is pressed and “8h” when Delay Start button is pressed.
To start testing, press both the SCRUB WASH and DELICATE/ECONO buttons a second time. When testing has ended, Cycle Countdown display will show a fault using codes below. If more than one fault occurs, code numbers will be added together, (e.g./ ?6? = faults 2 + 4).
0 = No faults detected 2 = Heating fault 8 = NTC (temperature sensor) fault
1 = Aqua Sensor (“Sensotronic”) fault 4 = Filling fault F = Filling fault (display occurs during wash, not test)
To check for heater, high limit or flow switch problems, start testing until heating starts. Using a meter with a current coil, measure current going into dishwasher. If current is ~ 11 A, then heater, high limit and flow switch are OK. If current stays at ~ 1.5-2 A, then heater, high limit or flow switch are faulty.
If water level switch (f1) has failed (opened), display will show fault code “4′ and unit will continually fill and drain where testing won’t be completed. If flow switch (e5) has failed (opened), display will show “0′, water won’t heat (to 150?F) and water won?t stop circulating. If NTC probe (f2/f4) has failed (opened), display will show fault code “8′ immediately and testing will end shortly after water has started circulating.
---------
The dishwasher not draining is most probably faulty drain pump or drain hose is got bit loose. It has to be checked and confirmed
