Hi, If you're sure the batteries are new and working it's hard to say what could be wrong. If you're looking to have it looked at and repaired I'd suggest talking to Gus Lazzari, he's a wizard with 35mm cameras.

Get a estimate from the minolta comany.It might not be much.
