Forgot password for smt 190 dn

I have a SMT- 190DN i cannot get into the menu i forgot my password can anyone tell me how to get into the menu

Press CH2 and Alarm buttons on monitor at same time and hold for a few seconds...goes to factory reset.

HOLD DOWN ALARM BUTTON AND NUMBER 2 BUTTON IT RESTORES UNIT TO FACTORY SETTING THEN PASSWORD IS 4321

According to some forums I checked some guy had the same problem as you and claims he solved it. I have pasted his comments below:
Cut the SMT-190Dx off using the switch. Let it stay off a few seconds and turn on again. In doing so, the unit's password will resort back to it's default both login and password. Then you can go back in and reset it to whatever you like. It worked for me. Good luck.

I just bought a Samsung SMT-190dn as a demo model and the record lock is set on and I can not stop recording is there any way to reset this so I can set it up the right way?
When you try to stop it from recording does it ask for a password, Correct!!!
OK Enter 4321 that's the password You do have the Remote Correct

Try this .
Cut the SMT-190Dx off using the switch. Let it stay off a few seconds and turn on again. In doing so, the unit's password will resort back to it's default both login and password. Then you can go back in and reset it to whatever you like.
There doesnt seem to be a code for this model. but follow this instruction hopefully it will help.

Just talked to Samsung regarding Reset procedure. Simple: Press CH2 and Alarm buttons on receiver at same time for 10 seconds. It will reset to factory.

Forgot password to Samsung SMT-190DN
Hold the remote control's STOP ( ) button for
longer than 5 seconds. “INITIAL” appears on the display and
all settings will return to the default values.
• Press the POWER button.
Using the RESET function will erase all stored settings.
Do not use this unless necessary.

unplug the computer and plug it back in.

try password factory setting password 4321.

make sure you push the "STOP" button on your remote first
