Some appliances malfunction can be displayed in hexadecimal or in binary code.
So your device is defective and shows you what's wrong. You have to count how many times flashes red light and how many times flashes green light. Red light shows the first error number and green light the second error number.
For example: you forgot to close the door and you started washing machine. After some time (timeout) will generate an alarm. Four times will flash red light and once the green light which means error code " E41 " or "Open door"
" E20 " means "No drain water"
" E10 " means "No fill up water"

Try this:-

• Check the paper roll and probably re load it.
  
• Turn the printer off.
• Press and hold the power button and then switch the printer on.
• Release after the first flash of LED light.
• The printer prints a test page.
• Turn it off and then on again and then try printing.

The problems you checked are indicated by a blinking red light (it denotes minor errors). A solid red light usually means that one of the toners is exhausted. If you look in the task bar, there's a little blue S; double click on this to launch Smart Panel, our monitoring software. It will tell you the specific error message. If one of the toners is showing empty already, are you sure this wasn't a used model or possibly a display unit that people would have been printing on?

Start the printer in the service mode.
i. With the printer power turned off, while pressing the Stop button, press and hold the ON
button. (DO NOT release the buttons).
ii. When the Power LED lights in green, while holding the ON button, release the Stop button.
(DO NOT release the ON button.)
iii. While holding the ON button, press the Stop button 2 times, and then release both the ON
and Stop buttons. (Each time the Stop button is pressed, the Alarm and Power LEDs light
alternately, Alarm in orange and Power in green, starting with Alarm LED.)
Without the scanner (connect the operation panel unit.);
While holding the ON button, press the Stop button 3 times, and then release both the
ON and Stop buttons. (Each time the Stop button is pressed, the Alarm and Power
LEDs light alternately, Alarm in orange and Power in green.)
iv. When the Power LED lights in green and "Service Mode Idle" is displayed on the LCD, the
printer is ready for the service mode operation.

Start the Service Tool on the connected computer.
i. When a button is clicked in the Service Tool dialog box, that function is performed. During
operation of the selected function, all the Service Tool buttons are dimmed and inactive.
ii When the operation is completed, "A function was finished." is displayed, and another
function can be selected.
iii If a non-supported function is selected, "Error!" is displayed. Click OK in the error message
dialog box to exit the error.

Turn off the canon printer

Hold the Resume Button (red circle in the triangle), add a printer (click “Power”) an indicator light green.

Hold the Power Button, release the Resume Button.

Not releasing the Power Button, double click “Resume” and release Both Buttons.

Click “Resume” for Four times

Once you click “Power”, to confirm the selected action (reset counter absorber). To disable the printer “Power” button to click again.

follow this steps to fix this error.
1.With the printer powered off but connected to a power source,
press the Power button while pressing and holding the Stop/ Reset button.
2.When the Power is lit, press the Stop/Reset button two times
while pressing and holding the Power button.
3.When releasing the Power button and the Stop / Reset button (regardless of order),
the printer will move into a service mode. (Waiting for menu selection)
4.When the on/off lights in green, press the Stop/Reset button the
specified number of time(s) according to the function listed in the table below.
(Each time the Stop/Reset button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in orange
and green, starting with orange.)note: press 4 times for waste ink counter reset.

while printing the two red lights turn on and stop printing,i press the power to off.. i turn it on so many times but still no power.. in the morning, i press the power to on and the 2 red lights appears again, then i turn it off, ..i try to turn it on many times but still no power. help me pls...

Error E22 = Carriage error

to reset this error follow the steps below--

with the printer powered off but connected to a power source , you must:
1. Press stop/reset button, and then press [ON/OFF] button to restart
2. Press [ON/OFF] again and then press twice the stop/reset button.
3. Press [ON/OFF] & Stop/reset button together, this time to enter the repair status and power lights will be green,
4. Press stop/reset button 4x and warning lights will be go out in [ON/OFF]button.
5. Turn off the printer.( it must be turn off) and then turn it on again.

Ben_ndee, if you press the "Go" button do you receive a secondary error light combination?
If this is the only combination you receive, the error is indicating a problem in the laser/scanner assembly.
Many times disconnecting and reconnecting the scanner will eliminate the error condition but there is a very good chance the laser/scanner assembly is faulty and needs to be replaced.
The part number is RM1-4262-000.
