Motorola E815 alarm quit working

Motorola E815 cell phone with 5 internal alarm settings - have 3 currently set and as of today, has stopped working. On previous phone, when the alarm time came, the clock on the phone just skipped the minute the alarm was set for; ie. if alarm was set for 1:33pm, the clock jumped from 1:32pm to 1:34pm. This is the 2nd E815 phone I've had that has done this. Please help!

I've had a similar problem with alarms not going off.  In my case, it was caused by receiving a text message that was unanswered between the time that I set the alarm, and the time that it was supposed to go off.  Try reading all your text messages, deleting all messages, and then take the battery out and put it back in after a few minutes.  The last part is to reset any caching, but the first two steps followed by a turn off/turn on should also do the trick.

I have a Motorola E815 Alltel cell phone and was wondering if I could somehow make this phone compatible with Verizon since they are my current carrier? How do I switch this Alltel E815 to Verizon?

Hi Dawn Lynn Martens,

You can take the device to Verizon to see if they can activate it with their frequency. Since they handle CDMA devices as the Motorola E815.

You need to make sure the Ringer is enabled. Here are the instructions:

the alarm will sound.

1. From standby mode press the Center Select
Key c [MENU], then press the Directional Key
r right twice for SETTINGS & TOOLS, 2
Tools, 4 Alarm Clock.
2. Press the Directional Key j up or down to
highlight an Alarm (1, 2, or 3), then press the
Center Select Key c [OK].
3. Enter the alarm information including:
• On/Off
• Time
• Frequency
• Ringer
4. Press the Directional Key j up or down to
highlight the information you want to set, then
press the Left Soft Key L [Set] to view your

Motorola E815 External Speaker

I was able to solve this problem by locating a suitable speaker on eBAY.
eBAY was the only place I was able to find a replacement speaker for my cell phone.
It seems that Verizon (my cell phone provider) and Motorola only offer one solution to this problem - buy a whole new cell phone (which means signing up for another 2 years of Verizon wireless service). My solution was better and cheaper (only cost me $7.00 to buy it and have it shipped).

This has been the only problem I've ever had with this cell phone and the new speaker solved it.

Motorola H350 - Incoming calls

there is nothing you can do about the delay as it's the time it takes for the bluetooth to send the signal to your earpiece to tell it the call is answered, the only way to stop any delay is to set your phone to auto answer in the bluetooth headphone settings or in the call settings.

Motorola E815 cell phone

This exact issue happened to me: I left my phone off for 2 days (unplugged), turned it back on and the internal speaker started working normally again. The phone worked normally for over a month after this. Yesterday, the earpiece speaker stopped working again after the phone fell out of my pocket. I suspect a loose connection or something similar, but I've had my phone off for the last day and will let you know whether or not it starts working again.
