I need to print a message on my phone for a receipt

What format is the receipt is it an email message is it on your screen. Is it a PDF file. Most likely right click on receipt link and select save target or save link.or save link.. Or function FN then Print Screen on keyboard and then open paint program and paste off clipboard and crop screen print and then save file. Then attach file to an email message and send to third party.
If it is an email message just select Forward in email options and email to third party.

On most models, there is a top, bottom and commercial message. Make sure you are programming the correct one.

Has the machine been printing a receipt message before? If not, you usually have to turn the message on as well as program the text. Which brand? What is the full model number?

You need to turn them on in machine features. Find the feature number which shows "print commercial message on receipt" and "print bottom message on receipt" and program them to on state using the code number next to it

It is under 'programming receipt message' in the book. You will need to learn how the programming sheet works in order to get the correct characters to print. It is best to go over the examples in the book to understand the layout, then go through the codes for receipt message programming. If you still get stuck, I can refer you to the correct areas and examples in the book. 2. press 2 subtotal
3. press 132 subtotal
4. enter commercial message using alphabet keys on keyboard (21 character max per line, 4 lines)
5. press cash at end of each line.
6. press subtotal when done
7. turn key back to reg

To disable receipt printing:

• Press the Rcpt/PO key in the OP X/Z position. This key toggles the receipt printing status ON andOFF.
• To check the receipt printing status, turn the mode switch to the OP X/Z position or press the CL key in the REG mode.
  
• When the function is in the OFF mode, the receipt off indicator “_” illuminates.

To issue a receipt when receipt ON/OFF function is set to OFF:
If your customer wants a receipt after you finalized a transaction with the receipt ON/OFF function in the OFF
mode, press the RCPT/PO key. This will produce a receipt. If more than 50 items were entered, the receipt will be
issued in a summary receipt format. Your register can also print a copy receipt when the receipt ON/OFF
function is in the “ON” status.

Yes, the TEM80 will allow you to put your name and phone number on the receipt. The only ones that dont are drum printing registers. these are the ones that spin little wheels in the printer that tap out numbers on the paper. If the printer is a thermal type (such as the TEM80) then it can definitely print a receipt message.

In your accounting software is there a way to add a greeting or salutation to the bottom of your receipts? Something like Thanks for your business come again soon? I'm wondering if someone got into that part of the software and although they didn't actually type any greeting or message in there that the printer would print but maybe instead put in a blank area by hitting the enter key several times so that the printer saw the space there and created it? If that isn't a solution i'd need to know more about your accounting software.

I had the same problem with my 6210. A different machine, but this may be worth a try. You need to go to the general setup, rather than the fax menu on the keypad. Two pushes of the button takes you to "print reports". Press OK and you go to "Fax Report Setup", OK again gives you "Print Report". You then can toggle with the arrows for the various options. In this case press OK when you are on "sent faxes"
