Gas manifold pressure is about 1/3 of the required propane manifold pressure. You will need a manometer to do this, and probibly a gas valve (propane) and change out nozels and pilot orfice too.

The gas valve may be leaking gas out where it should not be leaking gas out. You may need a new gas valve. This could be a safety issue, not just with a fire, but a potential fire gas explosion. Please get it fixed ASAP.
Are you trying to hook up a gas fryer to a gas cylinder tank? If so, you hook them up with a hose. If you have natural gas, you need a gas line, and if you have a fryer on casters, you would need a quick disconnect hose instead. If it's an LP Gas fryer, then the gas hose is much smaller and cheaper. We sell all of these if you need one, at Restaurant Equipment Outlet, 888-542-5959, Cincinnati, Ohio. Thanks, Susan
