SOURCE: scanners

Other than size of the scanners there is no difference. I used to think that a home Base station scanner would work better. This is not true. Every scanner I purchase now is a portable. I use them at home and even hook them up to an antenna on the roof. They work great and you always have a choice to take them on the road with you.

Your problem specifically sounds like it is probably a programming error. Take a look at you frequencies on Radioreference.com to make sure you have the most current. then look up in you manual the programming section in your manual and plug in the frequencies and it should work fine.

- Press the MANUAL key to stop scanning
- Enter the channel number that you wish to program (01, 02, etc.)
- Press MANUAL
- Enter your frequency, including the decimal point (e.g. 156.055)
- Press E to confirm
- Press MANUAL to advance to the next channel

Police 10 codes

not all the time, but the 10 codes Police Department uses are slightly different than what we used on the C.B. in todays communications in C.B. Radio, much has changed over the years and the code are hardly used, but it's nice to stay in tune with it.

Dear si i lost my nokia 1616 mobile phone how do i find it

First of all, go to your local Police department.

Tell them about your phone. Take all the documents that came with your phone. An "IMEI" code should be written somewhere in those documents.

If you know that code, you can contact your phone network so that they can disable your phone.

Someone might find it and hake it to the police department.

You can also put up flayers around your town.
