ERROR
Service Required
Parts used in your printer are at the end
of of their service life.
See your printers documentation fo details.
There isn't anything about this error in the
manual.
The only thing I could think of would be the
ink cart ridridges. I replace all cartridges.
I cannot remove this error from the screen.
Pushing any and all buttons will not remove
it from the screen. Even turning the
printer off & on--does nothing.
What other parts have a service life?

Epson Stylus Photo RX620. Same problem with message, 'parts near end of service life, repair' or words to that effect. Holding down the B&W and STOP buttons while switching on worked for me too. Many thanks

a cleaning kit is given to you at the time of purchasing of this printer. if you lost that, it can be available in any computer shop. use that with the instruction given there. I think your printer can work.
Epson programmed their printer to monitor the waste ink counter andyour printer has reached the maximum value allowed, you have to resetyour printer to clear the waste ink counter.
