take it in for repair as the connection is shorting out from the micro waves
get a quote as most repairs are more than the replacement cost

Impossible to say what the problem is but if the turntable has stopped you could check the turntable motor. This is easily accessed from the bottom of the unit but you have to actually break the sheet metal tabs that retain it in place and replace using the screws only.

First, I'm not a Miele tech. But I have worked on commercial espresso equipment and table top units.

If the owner's manual doesn't cover it and there's no obvious cover on the side or rear, you'll have to remove the outer wrapper.

Often on a unit whose bulb is not meant to be replaced by the customer, the light is located on the right side in the air duct attached to the magnetron or on the top of the oven cavity.

Most bulbs can be matched up at hardware stores, home improvement centers, and places like Wal-Mart or even large grocery stores.

Mate - send the unit back to Miele- thats poor service on their part, the stirrer fan must be running to be effective.

No its not a common fault - I would think the unit was not serviced properly.

The frame is fixed with four screws.
Remove the four little square plastics (black) on the upper and lower sides of the frame (front) and see the screws hidden behind.
Remove the four screws en see the lower part of the oven.
Unscrew the two screws on the floor, but not completely and pull the oven forward - it's heavy and a friend helping is better...
Unplug and good repair...

Problem identified as plastic pushbutton on control panel, solution: interchanged with turntable on/off button (nevrer used). Had paid Miele €115 call out (for person who knew nothing about microwaves), Miele operate a closed shop. Local repair service say Miele will not supply parts, Miele designated repair agent will not repair microwaves, Miele will only send "engineer" to customer, no drop off facility. Was forced into buying new microwave oven from Miele as only way of recouping callout charge. Subsequently had a go myself with above positive positive result - now have a spare microwave cooker.
