The Nook is not designed to be opened. There are many screen protectors available to put OVER the screen. You cannot replace a screen without doing damage to the device.
my nook tablet shows the green light that it's fully charged but when trying to turn it on nothing happens the screen does not com on or the nook symbol does not light up . can any one help me out here
It could be your cable, Nook is know to have faulty charging cables, you may have to buy a new one. If you do, here is a tip, search for a pen that you have to click the top to use it, take it apart and take out the spring, now wrap the spring carefully around the charging cord starting at the end where you plug it into the Nook, I attached a photo. This keeps the cord from bending and cracking the wires inside the cable
