I contacted ps3 and they told me that once you have finnished typing u notice that the spacer always jumps forward one space ,and they told me to allow for this in my typing

I forgot my administrator password for windows xp on an emachines computer
Follow the below steps to enable Windows XP built-in administrator account:
  1. Log on with the guest account on XP, then right click computer, and choose Management.
  2. Expand Local Users and Groups and Users in the console.
  3. Right-click Administrator account and select Properties.
  4. On the General tab, clear the Account is Disabled check box.
  5. Close the console.
    Now the super administrator account is successfully enabled. Next, you can easily reset the forgotten XP password from "Start->Control Panel".

I forgot my password on the ps3 account
Go to www.us.playstation.com and click on support. Call them and tell them and they'll send you a new temporary password to your E-mail associated with it and then you can go into account management afterwards and change it to whatever you like.

In the case of a forgotten password for you ps3 you will be able to recover it.
  1. You first have to go to www.us.playstation.com and click on support
  2. Find their support number and give them a call
  3. State your problem (that you have forgotten your password)
  4. I believe you must give them some information regarding you identity to be sure it's YOU
  5. They will then send you a temporary password to your e-mail account that your ps3 is associated with
  6. Simply input that same temporary password into the screen on the ps3 that asks for your username and password and you will be fine

Contact Sony customer Support for this issue, They will give you instructions on how to reset the password. Or if there is a reset password option when it asks for your password, use that.

Sony are either doing a maintenence update or trying to fix the latest update bug that is stopping people from logging on. It will be fixed soon so give it some time and try again later.

You can reset your password, go to account.live.com, you will need your windows live id, which is the email address that you created your account with. If you can't remember this it is in the manage account folder in the my xbox page.
